MISSION STATEMENT:
Clarity's mission is to design and develop mobile phone games that are actually
fun to play on a mobile phone.
Clarity believes that the legacy of mainstream computer and console games has
hindered rather than helped the cause of mobile phone games. Most developers
design and code mobile phone games based on game ideas and algorithms borrowed
from mobile's bigger brothers. The results are games that are not customised to
a mobile's strengths and weaknesses and therefore tend to play like games that
would be better suited to a PC or console. Clarity intends to use different
design and coding techniques to it's competitors to improve the following game
factors:-

Graphics Clarity. Graphical clarity is a design time and not a
development time issue. Clarity designs games with clarity in mind, which leads
to better overall graphics quality and user satisfaction.

File Size. Games will fit on more phones and be more operator friendly
if they are physically small. Clarity has researched design time and
development time techniques that can be used to make a game smaller that have
not been used in console and PC development and are generally overlooked by
other mobile developers because of this.

Game length. A lot of mobile games can be finished in a couple of days,
mainly because it is an accepted fact that because of memory restrictions
mobile phone games cannot have the long term playability and depth of games
with thousands of times more memory available. Clarity believes that game size,
long term playability, depth, etc. are all issues that can be resolved by
investigating and properly utilising non-standard design and implementation
techniques.
